Trading Plans/Forecast Published Thursday Morning – Aggressive Intraday Models

“For today, Thursday 04/25, our aggressive intraday models indicate going long on a break above 2940, with an 8-point trailing stop. Models also indicate going short on a break below 2917 with an 8-point trailing stop.”

Trading Plan Results/Outcome:

Thu 04/25 Booked a net -9.80 index points in losses on two shorts

The S&P 500  index broke below the 2917 level around 9:40am, triggering a short position with an 8-point trailing stop. The index reached an interim low within the next few minutes at 2916.40, moving the stop trigger to 2924.40. The stop trigger was hit around 10:05am, registering a loss of 7.40 index points.


The index again broke below the 2917 level around 10:15am, triggering another short position with an 8-point trailing stop. The short rode all the way to session low of 2911.40 at 10:35am, moving the stop trigger to 2919.40. The stop trigger was hit at 10:50, closing the position for a loss of 2.40 index point.

Thus, the models booked a net loss of 9.80 (-7.40 -2.40) index points on two short positions in today’s session.
